This website is meant to be a repository of Canadian model train detail parts. It may grow into more things, but for now, that’s it. It started when I asked for help with finding parts for a project. In a reply comment I said “It would be great if there was a place that had a listing of Canadian model train detail parts.” And someone replied, “Then start one.” So I have.
How to use the site: The site is sorted by Scale (HO, N, etc), Type of Part (Bell, Horn, etc), and Railroad (CN, CP, VIA, etc). This site is a WordPress-based site, so all the items will be tagged to make it easier to sort. Plus there is a search function.
To submit information, click “Submit a Part” and follow the directions. Include a photo of the part as well if you can – either in the package or just the part. Be as detailed as possible please.
Maybe this site will turn into a big pile of nothing (or ones and zeros), so be it. Hopefully it will be used by many. Now on to my CP C-424 project. – Phil
